Cranborne House in Bournemouth is run in partnership with Bournemouth University and is located on the Lansdowne Campus. Our accommodation is in the centre of all the action if you’re studying in Bournemouth. There’s a bus stop directly outside our Cranborne House student village taking you to Talbot Campus in an 8-minute bus journey. For journeys further afield, you can walk to Bournemouth Coach and Rail station in less than 10 minutes.

Not only is a bus stop conveniently placed just outside, but your bus pass is included in your accommodation. If being walking distance from the University, beach, and city centre weren’t enough, you can always travel quicker and further with these services. 

We have a range of en-suite and studio rooms available to suit your budget. You’ll have access to the exclusive ResLifeBU events and wellbeing programme, only available in BU accommodation, which is designed to help you enjoy your time in student accommodation to the fullest.

Cranborne House is a lively accommodation block which is home to 500 residents giving it a warm community feel. As well as being right next to the main gateway building, local amenities, the beach, and Bournemouth's town centre are all within walking distance. Whether you’ll spend your time breathing in the fresh seaside air on Bournemouth Pier, or exploring high street shops and nearby cocktail lounges, we’re at the heart of this buzzing seaside town. Should you choose to head further afield for the day, or even the weekend, there are convenient transport links nearby as well as Bournemouth train station.
