Previously known as Liberty Court, North Court is home to 253 students and, being just a short bus ride from both Cardiff Metropolitan University campuses and the city centre, it’s perfectly located for student life.

Studying at Cardiff Metropolitan University? All of North Court’s en-suite rooms are reserved exclusively for you. They come with a bed, a study desk and plenty of storage space. You’ll have access to a shared kitchen and living space, which is ideal for relaxing with your flatmates. Want a little more privacy? Our studio flats allow you to have a kitchen and living space all to yourself. Away from your flat, you’ll find communal areas that include an outside courtyard and a Playstation zone, which is an ideal place to relax with your friends.

Jump on a bus and you’ll be in Cardiff city centre within 10 minutes. Here, you’ll find all the bars, restaurants and shops you could want. Looking for some entertainment? Nightclubs such as Tiger Tiger and Walkabout are ideal if you’re in the mood to party, while the Motorpoint Arena is great for live music.

Located within the heart of Cardiff’s University district, North Court is situated just a 10 minute bus ride from Cardiff city centre. The residence benefits from having a wide variety of local amenities, bars, pubs and restaurants all within easy walking distance.

Three Horse Shoes and The Aneurin Bevan are great pubs located right on the doorstep of North Court, offering great student discounts on drinks and food. The Heath is another regular for students and hosts weekly karaoke, pub quiz & music nights – perfect for a cheap night out!

Llandaff Inclusion Fitness Centre is located at Llandaff campus, which is just a 10 minute walk from North Court. The fitness centre is open to students, and the local community. Everything is included and available for a reasonable membership fee, so it won’t break your bank!

If you fancy a kick about, Whitchurch have purpose built football facilities, with ten outdoor football pitches that you can rent with your flatmates for a small fee, and it’s only a 5 minute taxi ride from North Court. Alternatively, you can experience the real deal. If you’re into professional sport, Cardiff’s Principality Stadium and Cardiff City Stadium, home to Cardiff City FC, are just a 10 minute bus ride from North Court – so it’s perfect if you want to catch an entertaining game of Rugby or Football.

London can also be reached with ease in just over two hours by train. Local train services also operate to the Cathays area and Cardiff Bay. If you want to pop home over the weekend to see friends and family, you’re only twenty minutes away by bus from Central Station.

Additionally, Cardiff Airport is based just outside the centre and is accessible by train or bus if you are travelling further afield. The airport provides a range of widespread routes, and can be reached in 20 minutes by car and 30 minutes by train. Taxi services to and from North Court are quick, efficient and super cheap, so getting home to your student accommodation after an evening out in the city centre is a breeze.
